Meet the Coach!!

With so many new faces at my lessons, I thought I’d introduce myself on here! My name is Lexie and I am the main coach at Lexie’s Tennis!

A little bit about me:
I have been teaching tennis since I was 14 years old where I was an assistant coach for the Olentangy Middle School Teams as a freshman in high school! I taught middle school tennis for 4 years before beginning my own lessons at Liberty Park. I’ve taught over 1000 students the past 9 years! During my tennis career, I went to states at Liberty High School and was captain of the OSU club tennis team during college.

During the school year, I am a full time student! I graduated from OSU last spring and just finished my first year of medical school at OSU. I am not sure of what I want to do yet, but I am leaning towards pediatric emergency medicine! If I am not teaching tennis or studying, I am traveling, playing tennis and pickle ball with my friends, or fostering animals!!

Tennis is a huge part of my life and has given me so many opportunities to meet new friends, stay active, teach, and be a part of a team. I believe it is the best sport to learn as you can play it forever and anywhere for free! I am very passionate about not only teaching tennis, but fostering excitement and fun around being active, learning a new sport, meeting friends, and building confidence. My favorite part is watching my students improve and forming relationships with the kids and adults who take my lessons as well as the parents. There is no better feeling than knowing I was able to make even the smallest impact on one of my students!
