Core Strong Physical Therapy
We want to empower people to get back to the lives they want to live without being limited by pain, weakness, leakage, prolapse and more!
Movement is one of the best gifts you can give your pelvic floor and nervous system.
Many people think pelvic floor health is all about doing kegels. While strengthening has its place, your pelvic floor also needs flexibility, coordination, and the ability to respond to the movements you do every day.
Walking, lifting groceries, reaching overhead, standing up from a chair, and carrying your kids all require your pelvic floor to work together with your core, hips, breathing muscles, and nervous system.
The good news? You don't need an intense workout to make progress.
This week, challenge yourself to take a 10-minute walk. Focus on breathing comfortably, taking smooth steps and letting your arms swing naturally. Consistent movement helps build strength, improve balance, support pelvic floor function, and prepare your body for the demands of daily life.
If pelvic pain, leaking, or feelings of heaviness are keeping you from moving with confidence, you don't have to figure it out alone.
At Core Strong Physical Therapy, we provide one-on-one pelvic floor therapy to help you build a strong foundation so you can keep doing the things you love.

June is Pelvic Floor Diagnosis Awareness Month here at CSPT and this week we're bringing awareness to one of the most misunderstood pelvic health conditions: interstitial cystitis (IC), also known as painful bladder syndrome.
If you've experienced bladder pain, urgency, or frequent urination and have been told that your tests are normal, you're not alone.
For many people, the path to an IC diagnosis involves months or years of searching for answers. That's because IC is complex and often involves much more than the bladder itself (Did you know only 10%-25% of people with IC have lesions inside the bladder?). The pelvic floor, nervous system, bowel health, stress, sleep, and lifestyle factors can all influence symptoms.
And while medications and lifestyle changes can help, pelvic floor therapy is the only intervention that has been designated by the American Urological Association as a first-line intervention with a Grade A evidence rating for the treatment of IC.
Your symptoms are real. You’re not crazy. And understanding the whole picture can help make sense of what you're experiencing and open the door to new possibilities.
