THIS IS DEDICATED TO OUR FRIEND PAT, WHO WE MISS EVERY SUNDAY , HE WAS THE MOTIVATING FORCE BEHIND THIS GAME WHILE HE WAS HERE, THIS IS WHY WE KEEP PLAYING ON AND ON. a fun pickup game, no balls,no strikes, we call the plays ourselves, we try to be as fair as fair is, we will play everyone that shows up , in the event of more than 20 people, we will rotate so everyone gets playing time.
Drop a routine fly ball? Spike a ball to 3rd base? Strike out next 2 batters and fail to cover 1st Base? Field routine ground ball to 1st with no sense of urgency? Result 5 unearned runs! To play that horribly in the World Series and give a team like the Dodgers 3 extra outs might be the worst inning of baseball I have ever seen!
