This agency is currently investigating a missing 5 year old child from Arlington area. Child last seen in area of Manchester Road and Rhobella Drive at about 1:40 pm. today. Possibly wearing a blue shirt and diaper.

HUDSON VALLEY TRAVEL ALERT: The northbound Thruway (I-87) at exit 17 in Newburgh will close in less than 12 HOURS (8 PM). Avoid this area TONIGHT, if possible. Take another route to avoid delays.

TRAVEL ALERT: On Saturday, January 6 at 7 p.m., the northbound lanes of the Thruway (I-87) from exit 17 in Newburgh to exit 18 in New Paltz will fully shut down to all traffic for at least 12 hours so a portion of the damaged Brookside Road overpass in New Paltz can be safely removed over the northbound lanes, weather permitting. The Plattekill Service Area will be closed during this operation. Motorists should seek alternate routes while this work takes place or avoid travel in the area during these times, if possible.
