Big news for workforce development in the Hudson Valley! Dutchess Community College has been awarded $3 million through Empire State Development’s Upstate Revitalization Initiative, alongside nearly $2 million from the New York State Office of Strategic Workforce Development, to expand its Center of Excellence for Business, Industry & Innovation (COEBII) — and construction is officially underway!

This major investment will transform the Fishkill site with 75,000+ sq. ft. of new and renovated space, creating hands-on learning labs in high-demand fields like automotive technology, automation, HVAC clean tech, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, construction, architecture, business and entrepreneurship.
