General information
Founded in 1983, the Mediation Center of Dutchess County's mediation, training and education services are designed to help people think more clearly, make decisions, and understand other perspectives. The Center's services are provided by professionally trained staff, certified volunteer and consultant mediators.
Mediators help support the conversation between parties in conflict in a confidential and voluntary process. Mediators do not make decisions for people, nor do they give advice. They help parties figure out what will work for them given the situation they face.
