Every arts organization is unique. The structure of its board of directors should reflect the unique needs of the mission, programs, and operations to meet this moment in time while setting up the organization for long-term success. In this workshop, we will contextualize nonprofit governance by first reviewing the basic requirements of a nonprofit board and the history that led to the predominant board structures that we see today.

This is the third installment in Nicole Jurain's popular professional development series for working artists. Building on How to Price Your Work and Displaying Your Work at Art Shows, this intimate, discussion-based session dives deeper — helping artists critically evaluate which art fairs are the right fit for their work, how to approach pricing strategy for specific show types, and how to honestly assess the quality and presentation of their booth experience. ***Due to the popularity of this series, enrollment is intentionally limited to 4–6 participants per session to ensure every artist receives meaningful personal attention.***
