This little trio from happylifeanimalrescue is all from the same litter, despite having such diverse colorations! They were rescued from out-of-state, and brought into us for spays and neuters. They are soon to be up for adoption!

Look at this absolutely perfect (fur-fect) pair! These two marshmallows came in for annuals and vaccines, and they absolutely stole the show! These beauties did amazing for their vaccinations, and a plan was set up for them to get their next distempers in 3-4 weeks, along with their rabies vaccines!

At only two months old, these guys were scheduled to wait for the rabies vaccine. Puppies generally receive their first rabies shot between 12 and 16 weeks of age. A booster shot is usually required one year later, and then again every 3 years.

For distemper and parvovirus, the vaccine is given once, and then given again 3-4 weeks later, and then again 3-4 weeks after that. After this point, the pup should be 4-5 months old, and then the distemper is vaccine is good for 1 year.
