Recently we were honored to welcome New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA) Commissioner Barbara C. Guinn to Dutchess Outreach.
Commissioner Guinn toured our Food Pantry, Food Farmacy, and Lunch Box and joined members of the Dutchess County Food Security Council, along with local and state leaders, for a conversation about Governor Kathy Hochul’s FY2027 State Budget initiatives focused on food security, child care, and affordability.
At Dutchess Outreach, we're committed not only to meeting immediate needs, but also to advancing advocacy and systemic change that addresses the root causes of hunger. Meaningful progress happens when community voices, lived experience, and public policy come together.
Thank you, Commissioner Guinn, for your visit and for engaging in these important conversations about building a more equitable, nourished, and affordable future for all New Yorkers.
