Washington Square Endodontics

🎉Welcoming Dr. Scheel to our practice🎉

Dr. Scheel was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree, Summa Cum Laude, and as an outstanding senior from the University of the Pacific. He then earned his dental degree and graduated with honors from the University of the Pacific’s Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.

After finishing dental school, he worked as a general dentist in Texas before moving to Philadelphia where he completed his endodontics residency at the University of Pennsylvania. During his time there, he taught microsurgical endodontics in UPenn’s International Continuing Education course. After finishing his residency, he worked in Columbus, Ohio but knew he wanted to come back to the west coast and soon relocated to Portland. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontics and has presented his research on lasers in endodontics at the annual conference.

​​Dr Scheel enjoys spending his time outside of work trying out new restaurants, hiking, watching sports, and working out.
