Will solar panels damage my roof?

Solar panels are mounted on racking systems that are bolted into your roof rafters, not the shingles. The penetrations are sealed and flashed properly, the same way a plumber seals a pipe.
In most cases panels actually protect the section of roof underneath them from weather exposure.

Our installations come with a workmanship warranty on top of the manufacturer panel warranty. If anything ever goes wrong with the roof at the point of installation, it's on us.
