Making financial aid fun! Well, not exactly, but sharing the ins and outs nonetheless! Loved seeing both new and returning faces to last night's "Understanding College Costs and Financial Aid" library event.

💰 The uncomfortable college conversation but the one every family needs to have - the college budget!
Before building a college list or falling in love with a campus, talk about the money needed to afford college. Nothing is more heartbreaking than an acceptance letter to a college that the family can't afford. 💔

✅ Is there money saved? A 529 plan?
✅ How much can we cash flow each year?
✅ How do we feel about student loans? Parent loans?
✅ Are scholarships available?
✅ Is in-state tuition a priority?

Every answer is unique to each family. Just know the numbers before creating a college list and applying.
