For years now, people have asked me if I am still working, running my house-call practice and if and when I plan to retire.
Having recently turned 70 my "retirement plan" is to continue to work and do house-calls but I will not be taking new clients and patients. Of course there no doubt will be some exceptions as I am very healthy, capable and interested in veterinary practice. But it is time to take a break, at least for now.
I've been a veterinarian for 39 years, with 26 years in house-call practice. It's been a pleasure to serve my clients and their pets through the years. Thank you!
