Appreciation post for our trail crew! Did you know that they mow 30 miles of trails each month? 🌾

Actually, it’s more like 60 miles because they mow in both directions. And then there’s all the hedge-trimming and weed-whacking they do, too!

These are photos from the Fore River Sanctuary last week before and after mowing. Doesn’t the “after” look so much more inviting?!

2nd annual East Bayside Trail Fest draws runners, cyclists, and walkers in Portland A new annual outdoor event, which only began last year, returned to Portland Sunday to get people on the trails.
