Had to go back and highlight these drums. They are incredible. Timba drums were handmade in California in limited numbers and have become increasingly sought after by serious players and collectors.
They have solid oak shells, premium natural rawhide heads, and a focus on tone and durability They're often mentioned alongside legendary builders like Valje, SOS, Ritmo, and PM Percussion.
Big, warm, powerful sound full of character. They're no longer commonly available on the used market, making complete matching sets like this increasingly hard to find.
If you're into Afro-Cuban percussion, salsa, Latin jazz, world percussion, or just appreciate beautifully crafted drums, these are worth a look.
Also, apologies for the snare drum buzz in the background of the video. We probably should have turned the snares off.

Wow! Just took in a set of these pristine Timba congas ($3150 for Q/C/T). These drums are HOT!
Timba drums came out during the boutique-conga renaissance of the mid 1980s– early/mid 2000s, when skilled craftsmen began producing drums that competed with or exceeded the quality of large manufacturers.
Timba drums are known for their substantial weight (Oak), durability, and rich tone.
With thick North American hardwood shells, traditional stave construction, heavy-duty hardware and fitted with premium natural rawhide heads, Timba drums are frequently mentioned alongside other respected boutique builders such as Moperc, SOS Drums, Ritmo, and Volcano Percussion.
