Joy Dickinson is an executive consultant who guides nonprofits to solve organizational problems, plan for the future, and improve their financial sustainability. With decades of experience, her work has helped nonprofits expand services for vulnerable populations, build new buildings, develop staff capacity, improve donor relations, navigate executive transitions, increase grant revenue, merge, explore new service models, set strategic goals, and more. Her work is founded in a simple belief: better nonprofits make a better world.

Joy brings 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, primarily serving health and human services organizations, and holds a bachelor's degree in Health Science from Sacramento State University.

Through Joy's work, nonprofits have been gifted and granted millions of dollars from a wide variety of sources, family foundations, corporations, government agencies, and individual donors. During her time as Grants and Contracts Officer at CORA (Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse), the organization ranked #1 in the number of foundation grant awards and #6 in total foundation amount received among 200 comparable nonprofits in California. She has also led evaluation projects for community gardens, to***co cessation and healthy weight programs, and domestic violence agencies, and co-authored "Community Gardens: Lessons Learned from California Healthy Cities and Communities," published in the American Journal of Public Health.

We're proud to introduce a leader who's been with Williams & Russell from the very start.

Bryson Davis serves as President of Williams & Russell CDC. Formerly Board Chair, he has held leadership roles since the formation of the Williams & Russell Project Working Group, making him one of the longest-standing champions of our mission.

Outside of W&R, Bryson is a business, nonprofit, and real estate attorney with Principia Business Law. His practice involves advising and representing companies, organizations, and individuals across a broad range of business issues from formation to sale and he often serves as external General Counsel for his clients. His work regularly includes mergers and acquisitions, business and nonprofit formation, private placement securities, real estate matters, contract drafting, and regulatory compliance.

Beyond his legal work, Bryson is an active board member for other nonprofit organizations and projects, focusing his volunteer efforts where he can support reparative initiatives, small business development, and education.
