making any effort to document it, and most of those were focused on the past, not the present. The desire to tell the stories and introduce the people was there, and had been for years, but the final piece of the puzzle didn't fall into place until Halloween Night 2014, when the old Portland Punk found himself working at a community media center in Oregon City. With a wealth of equipment, knowledge, and training available to him thanks to WFMC, that one old Punk was finally able to turn his desire into reality, and PDX Punk Scene review was born. Focusing primarily on up-and-coming and unsigned bands from the Pacific Northwest, PDX Punk Scene Review is one man's vision to bring the Scene that he loves to the attention of a wider audience. The desire is to be inspiring to those already part of the Scene, informative to those on the outside looking in, and entertaining to both audiences. from a forum to bring attention to newer, less well-known bands, to a place to get re-acquainted with old favorites, to a home for the venues and bands to be heard, this project is meant to be a positive and truthful look at what makes the Portland Punk Scene one of the best in the world.
