Another hard moment is coming.

That is simply part of parenting.

The difference is whether you walk into it prepared or reactive.

Most families are taught how to discipline behavior. Very few are shown how regulation actually works.

When a child’s nervous system is overwhelmed, reasoning is not accessible. Lectures bounce off. Consequences escalate tension.
That does not mean you are failing. It means the nervous system needs support first.

This is exactly why Dr. Roseann Capanna-Hodge, who has performed more than 10,000 brain maps over 30 years and helped thousands of families calm dysregulated brains, created The Regulated Child Summit™ and brought together 30 experts in nervous system health.

Inside, you will learn practical tools like:

🔹 60-second grounding resets
🔹 Transition strategies that reduce power struggles
🔹 Co-regulation techniques that shift emotional tone
🔹 Language scripts that de-escalate anger
🔹 Sensory supports that prevent shutdowns
🔹 Sleep insights that improve nighttime battles

Each tool is short and designed for real life.

Make sure to look out for my tip that helps with behaviors within 30 minutes, something my clients call their "Happy Pill"!

The next meltdown will happen either way. The only question is whether you have better tools when it does.

Do you feel like your child on the autism spectrum is grazing all day long?

Here are 3 reasons they may be!!

#1 A sensory craving - They are looking for foods to satisfy a sensory craving therefore they eat more foods to get more sensory input.

#2 Not eating at meals - They are grazing throughout the day in order to make up for those nutrients. Getting protein, good fats, and fiber at mealtimes can help keep them full!

#3 Struggle with interoception - i.e. the ability to sense and interpret internal signals from the body, such as heart rate, hunger, and pain. And they could actually be struggling with that! Balancing meals and mindfulness exercises can help!

#4 Parasites and yeast in the gut may be driving eating, especially choices like simple carbs (rice, potatoes, bread, sweets).
👉🏼 Are you just getting started with nutrition for your child on the spectrum? If you’re feeling overwhelmed, know you’re not alone - there is a LOT of information out there, and it can be really confusing.

Comment NAVIGATE and I’ll send you a resource which is a great place to start with shifting your child’s autism behaviors.
