Fences For Fido

Sometimes an emergency build becomes a whole community effort. 💙🐾🧡

We were originally planning to build a fence for a guardian and his dog, Griz, at the property where they live. But when the guardian had to step away for urgent health reasons, it became clear this sweet dog needed a safe place to stay for a while.
Because the property owners are elderly, and there wasn’t a reliable way to ensure daily care, we knew we needed another solution.
That’s when Cindy with Rockn EZ Rescue Ranch stepped in.
The rescue was already full, but Cindy opened her heart and made room in the way rescue people somehow always try to do. Since we partner with her in Warm Springs, volunteers were able to build a secure enclosure at her rescue so this dog could be safe, cared for, and loved while his guardian focuses on getting well.
And because every Fido build has its own little bit of magic, one of our volunteers brought her dog along - who spent the day stationed at the back of the Fido van, proudly guarding the treats while everyone worked. 🐶
This is what community care looks like: people, partners, and pups all showing up when it matters most.
