Today my boys are 9 months old.
And if I’m being honest, I don’t know where the time has gone.
There are moments when I look at them and still can’t believe they’re here.
Nine months ago, my life changed forever.
People always tell you that becoming a parent changes everything, but I don’t think anyone can truly prepare you for it. No one can explain what it feels like to have two little humans completely rearrange your heart, your priorities, your dreams, and even the way you see yourself.
These boys have taught me more in nine months than I learned in years.
They’ve taught me that being present matters more than being perfect.
They’ve taught me that success isn’t measured by how busy you are, how much money you make, or how many people know your name. Success is hearing “Dada,” getting a smile when you walk into a room, and knowing that to someone, you are their entire world.
Every day I wake up wanting to be better because of them.
A better father.
A better man.
A better example.
Everything I do now has a deeper meaning because their future is attached to it.
And while I’ve experienced some incredible things in my life, nothing compares to hearing them laugh.
Not one thing.
I’ve sat front row at Adele. I’ve stood on stages. I’ve built businesses. I’ve had experiences I never dreamed would happen.
Yet somehow the greatest sound I’ve ever heard is two little boys laughing in the living room.
That sound stops time for me.
It’s pure joy.
It’s the reminder that everything I’ve ever been searching for was never found in an achievement, an event, or a destination.
It was found in family.
So today, as they turn 9 months old, I’m feeling grateful.
Grateful that these boys chose me.
Grateful for every sleepless night, every milestone, every cuddle, every laugh, and every lesson.
Because the truth is, I may be raising them…
But every single day, they’re raising me too.
Happy 9 months, my boys.
Dad loves you more than you’ll ever know. 🤍
