you all showed OUT for Next Up’s first Portland City Council Watch Party!!! 🤩🌟
ICYMI: our incredible Co-Governance team (s/o Gavin, Rowan, Zac, Teal, Meg & Vince) hosted their first-ever Portland City Council Watch Party this month, and it was A TIME! 🤍
City Council dynamics were unpacked, budget amendments were explained, tea was spilled 🤭🫖, free dinner (🤭) was enjoyed… we sooooo appreciated the turnout and the opportunity to be in community with you all! 🫂

last Wednesday marked the last meeting of our 2025-2026 CAT cohort… (we’re not crying, you are!! 🥲)
we have absolutely LOVED getting to know these young leaders, and are beyond excited to see where their activism takes them. 🌟📣

the Moda Center is our house... literally. it’s owned by the City of Portland, which means WE should decide what to do with it. our recommendation? renovate Moda. keep the Blazers. make a deal, not a donation. 💯
