We’re gettin’ ready for auditions on Tuesday and Wednesday next week! It’s rare that we audition for all voice parts (since we have so many dedicated and awesome returning members!) so if you’ve ever been curious about auditioning - now is the time! Please read the rest of this post carefully for details 💛

Auditions will be held at Taborspace on SE Belmont on January 23 & 24 from 7pm-9pm.

Contact us at [email protected] to let us know which day you’d like to audition and we’ll get back to you with a 30 minute time slot.

The first rehearsal for this Spring 2024 season will be February 5th, 7pm-9pm. We rehearse every Monday and every other Wednesday.
Concerts will be held between May 31st and June 8th.

What to expect for for the audition:
Come prepared with a 90 second to 2 minute solo you can do a capella
We will test your range (bigger range isn’t better, we just want to know where your voice fits)
We will teach you some parts to a song for you to sing along with us
We will sing harmonies to one of four simple songs. (Sorry two of the songs have religious roots; they’re just really simple and well known.)
Please be familiar with any one of the following - you’ll select which one we sing:
*You are My Sunshine
*When the Saints Go Marching In
*Amazing Grace
*Silent Night

Expectations for joining and returning members:
All applicants and members must be fully vaccinated and up to date on boosters for Covid-19. No exceptions.
No one will miss more than 5 rehearsals. We understand that people might not make it to absolutely every rehearsal, but even 5 is a lot as it represents 25% of all rehearsals.
—Absences due to Covid exposure and positive tests are mandatory (and excused.) DO NOT come to rehearsal if you have covid or think you have been exposed.
Punctual attendance at rehearsals.
Practicing songs outside of rehearsal. We all want to sound our best!
