University of Oregon's Women in Computer Science Club (WiCS) is hosting TechTogether, a women in tech development conference focused on mentoring and inclusivity. We received $15,000 from the National Center for Women & IT to run this event, so registration will be free! It will include an empowering keynote from Shelmina Abji, former IBM VP, Board Member of UN Girl Up Campaign, & Angel Investor. We will also host Kathleen Lehman, leader of the BRAID Research study by the Anita Borg Foundation, funded by Facebook, Google, Intel, Microsoft, CRA & NSF. Participants will engage in a panel discussion with women from Intel, AppNexus, TEALS-Microsoft, and more! Students will also have a small-group lunch discussion with a female mentor in tech and engage in meaningful networking. There will be a closing networking session sponsored by IBM.
Visit techtogetheroregon.com to register for this amazing opportunity before spots are gone!
