Back in 1973, Nakamichi flipped the script on what a cassette deck could be. The 700 Tri-Tracer was a real show stopper. With three heads, three motors, and dual capstans, it gave you precision tape handling, real-time monitoring, and sound quality that made people stop comparing cassettes to dictation machines and start comparing them to reel-to-reel.

This beast was overbuilt in every way: A tank-like transport, aircraft toggle switches, glowing VU meters. The 700 just drips old school cool. 😎
