NEW ANDERSON #1 CONTAINER NOW SHIPPING

PORTLAND, OR; November 30,2018 – Rick Anderson, president of Anderson Pots, has announced immediate availability of their new design Anderson #1 pot featuring increased durability, improved stacking and superior de-nesting to reduce grower’s labor costs.

The new Anderson #1 has a volume of 0.74 gallons, the same as the older design it replaces. However, the new design eliminates pots sticking together while increasing the unit count per pallet to 6,500 units; 169,000 pots per truckload.

This is the fifth new, cost-effective, container released by Anderson Pots with additional container and greenhouse pot products to be announced in early 2019.

Anderson Die & Manufacturing operating as Anderson Pots was founded in Portland, OR in 1954 by George Anderson. New 2017 catalog listings include:
New recessed drainage round greenhouse pots in 4” short, 4” tall, and 6” tall sizes to join the 6” short recessed drainage size previously available.
A new, more cost effective, #5 Squat 12” x 10” nursery pot that offers improved stacking with 854 pots per pallet.
A new photograph of the company’s Portland, Oregon manufacturing plant is featured on the back cover of this year’s catalog.
