WEST HAVEN-SYLVAN KITCHEN : In this 1960's home, a new custom black slat panel acts as a custom divide between the two fireplaces after the original wall was removed. The double-sided fireplace was plastered on one side and painted on the other to create two distinct spaces. A new in-floor concrete hearth was added and one of the fireplaces is now a decorative nook highlighting the original brick.

WEST HAVEN-SYLVAN KITCHEN : In a 1960s home, the clients sought a modern update that would create more seamless living spaces. This main floor remodel achieved an open plan by removing select structural walls, allowing the kitchen, dining, and living areas to flow effortlessly together. Custom white oak cabinetry, glazed terracotta tile, rift white oak floors, and a plastered hood transform the kitchen into a serene, cohesive retreat. Select sections of paint-grade cabinetry introduce subtle contrast, helping to define spaces while visually tying the larger main floor together.

WILDWOOD REMODEL : The third floor is dedicated to a 925-square-foot primary suite, complete with a grown-ups-only sitting room, a newly built walk-in closet, and a serene primary bath. The bedroom is anchored by a floor-to-ceiling custom headboard with integrated shelving, side tables, and a built-in bed frame, creating a cohesive and architectural focal point.
In the bathroom, a checkered field of 12x12 Basilica tile—alternating honed and hammered finishes—introduces a quiet rhythm and subtle depth. Green Army quartzite, first seen in the kitchen, reappears as the counter, backsplash, and integrated shelf, paired with California Faucets wall-mounted fixtures and Cedar & Moss sconces set into warm walnut paneling. A custom floating walnut vanity completes the space, tying every element together.

WILDWOOD REMODEL : To cap off the Wildwood Remodel tour, we end with the third bathroom—arguably our favorite—located on the main floor. Though monochromatic, the space comes to life through layered textures and materials, pairing a rose-blush palette with terrazzo floor tile, a 2×2 mosaic surround, and a paint-grade Formica vanity. White orb sconces paired with white California Faucets fixtures add a fun, playful pop.

WILDWOOD REMODEL : The home’s three bathrooms continue the emphasis on material nuance and thoughtful contrast. The main-floor bath nearest the living spaces takes a more playful approach, featuring full-height 2×2 mosaic tile, special-order orange Jalco plumbing fixtures, and a balance of orb sconces with overhead wafer lighting. A custom rift white oak vanity completes the space.

WILDWOOD REMODEL : Adjacent to the kitchen, the fireplace was reimagined with a Level 5 drywall façade and a custom powder-coated steel surround. A built-in steel cabinet provides integrated wood storage, balancing utility with refined form.
The home features two distinctly different living rooms: one bright, playful, and family-oriented; the other a moody, cozy den designed for adults to lounge and unwind. Throughout, matte prefinished engineered white oak flooring unifies the spaces with a consistent sense of warmth and ease.

WILDWOOD REMODEL : At the top of the new entry staircase, a white oak slat wall offers a glimpse into the dining room beyond—allowing light to filter through while creating a soft sense of separation and intimacy. At the heart of the upper level, the kitchen, dining, and living rooms unfold with openness and material richness.
The kitchen serves as both a gathering space and a statement of craft, centered around a Green Army leathered quartzite island with a waterfall edge. Designed and fabricated from three carefully matched slabs, the stone appears again in the primary bathroom suite, creating a subtle material thread throughout the home. A custom-radius hood surround, clad in matte 2x2 mosaic tile, floats above the range like a sculptural accent, complemented by rift white oak cabinetry and painted finishes crafted by our cabinet shop.
