Thanks to a donation from the Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation, The Pumper Car® vehicles are bringing mobility, confidence, and joy to children across multiple schools in the Salt Lake City School District.

Most of this gift was used to purchase 50 Pumper Car vehicles for nine elementary schools, these schools include: Backman, Edison, Escalante, Franklin, Mountain View, Newman, North Star, Parkview, and Rose Park.

The benefits of this gift from the Miller Family Foundation will have a lasting impact at all of the recipient institutions. A teacher at Parkview Elementary summed up the positive feelings from all those involved by saying, “This is the coolest thing ever. The kids are excited to ride them and get exercise. We are truly grateful. Thank you so much!”

Students in the Silver Falls School District were thrilled to have two new Pumper Car® vehicles delivered to their school in September 2025.

This is the result of a generous donation by the Silverton’s Les Schwab Tire Center to the district through the Help Kids Drive to Success program.

Joseph Tricarico, Assistant Manager of Silverton’s Les Schwab store, staited, “We believe in giving back to the
community and one of the things at the top of our list is to give to schools. When we were approached about
the idea to donate these Pumper Car devices, it was an easy decision.”
