The Craft Advanced Research Projects Agency (CARPA) is a central state agency of the United States Department of Defence responsible for the development of new craft technologies for use by the artisans of Unites Stated and our allies. The focus of CARPA is the strategic advancement of craft in order to shape and sustain conditions for stability and progress for the benefit of the people of the United States.

DARPA flagship, spotted by Agent Nicole Nathan, arriving in Portland! CARPA's sister organization has surprised us with some support for our recruitment efforts at the Museum of Contemporary Craft. Hopefully they'll be able to stick around through our big recruitment fair next weekend.
