Gratitude:

108 hours, 3 months, studying the softer side of yoga. Yin, Yoga Nidra, Reiki, Trauma informed yoga, Alchemy bowls, Pranayama and mudras, Chair yoga and sound healing with restorative practice.

Community! Vulnerability, Higher Self exploration and Curiosity.

I’ve practiced yoga for 17 years, but the past 2 years I jumped into a deeper study of this beautiful ancient Eastern practice and it has truly changed my life, for the better. Yoga is much more than the asanas ( poses). It is a deeper reflection on how we show up, react and accept the challenges we face. It’s a deeper spiritual way to stop the monkey mind. It takes practice and practice and more practice.

So I show up differently now for myself, my students and hopefully the world.

Thank you for the 200 hour training that started this deeper curiosity. Thank you for bringing me closer to my authentic practice and curiosity.

I know one thing for certain… this is just the beginning. This practice is part of me. Grateful beyond belief 🙏🧘‍♀️❤️

My guiding word for 2026 is Hope.

Hope is the quiet courage that lives in the human heart. It is the gentle belief that even when the path is shadowed, light still exists beyond the bend. Hope does not deny pain or difficulty; instead, it stands beside them and whispers that this moment is not the end.

Hope is the ability to imagine a future shaped by possibility rather than fear. It is the seed that rests patiently in the dark soil, trusting that warmth and rain will come. Sometimes it is loud and triumphant, urging us forward with confidence. More often, it is soft and persistent—a steady breath taken when giving up would be easier.

Hope connects us to meaning. It invites us to act, to love, and to endure, even when outcomes are uncertain. It teaches us that growth can emerge from struggle and that change, however slow, is always possible.

At its core, hope is an act of faith in life itself: a choice to believe that tomorrow holds something worth reaching for, and that within us lies the strength to meet it.

I am hoping for a more peaceful world that brings equality, diversity and love for all beings. I’m hopeful that kindness lives amongst the hate and love will endure.
