Oh Scout. The sweetest pup I’ve ever had. He’s an old man now. Going on 13 in October. His arthritis has slowed our quickly paced, long adventure walks. His lumps and bumps have grown. His hearing is slowing going. But Otherwise as fit as a fiddle and still wants to play. He gave me quite the scare yesterday with the sudden clapsing of his hind end and then walking like he was drunk. It lasted for a few hours. His vet is amazing and got him right away this morning. Idiopathic vestibular disease. It sounds way worse than it is. Pretty much old man syndrome. He will most likely have more episodes. It’s common and not treatable. But he’s okay and chillin in his favorite spot today. Keeping his mental health vibrant is imperative just like us humans. We will go to play in the river later this evening. I have a full plate with work at TJ’s ,the Ford Gallery and trying to produce my own work for upcoming shows,all while living life and trying to fill my cup with fun experiences. So if I don’t answer texts or calls. I’m just busy. I’ll get back to ya. Xo
