Trailhead Coffee Roasters

A customer asked about brew methods and they were all about immersion brew methods. They then asked why I did pour over with an intonation/implication that it was a lazy or sub optimal method of brewing. I felt strangely defensive in a "I could do better" sort of vibe. Have I lost my mind? Is pour over not the way? If it's not then what is???

The morning ritual is over. The carafe of coffee, still warm from the brew, is empty. Time to roll out and deliver fresh beans to local cafés & markets on the cargo bike so others can enjoy a variation of this experience.
