Final of five renderings for my final project at . Peanuts have an interesting history, originally from Peru/South America, they landed in Spain with the colonizers in the 15th century. From there they spread through the old world. In the 17th-18th centuries, enslaved African people brought peanuts with them to Virginia. This variety has been in cultivation prior to the 1930s. This piece will be in the Lake Arts Festival in 2026. It was rendered in colored pencil and sepia Micron pen on drafting film. are featured in the show and our exhibit is about and is entitled Wild & Luscious .
