🍂SOTO AYAM BENING — a bowl of comfort from home 🇮🇩
The autumn chill here reminds me of the rainy seasons in Indonesia — that familiar scent of rain..🌧 the feeling of coziness, and the craving for a soothing bowl of soto ayam bening 💚.
A light yet aromatic turmeric and lemongrass broth, filled with cabbage, bean sprouts, tomatoes, shredded chicken (or tofu for a vegan twist) ☺️. Served with rice noodles or steamed rice, a squeeze of lime, a drizzle of kecap manis, and a handful of crispy emping chips — pure comfort in a bowl 🥣.
This soup never fails to warm the soul and keep the cold away💓.
Have you ever tried Soto Ayam Bening..? I hope you love it as much as I do 💛.
