Recently I worked on a custom order for 8oz porcelain mugs with a request to have only „Portland Oregon” painted on them. I added few touches that made them „Mine”. Two of them are going over 5,500 miles away and one is a keeper. 🩵

I love working with clay, but block printing is the ultimate antidote to the long, unpredictable ceramic process. You get to skip the days of forming, drying, painting, firing and glazing, jumping straight from your carved block to a finished crisp image in seconds…. And it brings me joy!

I just dropped off all my new pieces today. It has been so much fun creating this new batch!

April feels especially meaningful this year!

I’m celebrating my one-year anniversary as a member of Artistic Portland co-op Gallery—and for the first time, I’m happy to be a Featured Artist in the front window. My ceramic work is on display alongside Mark Clifford’s photography and Gina Johnson’s enameled wall panels.
