Homespun Midwifery

With mixed emotions, I announce that Homespun Midwifery will no longer be accepting new clients. I am taking a sabbatical to return to school in hopes of expanding my scope of care. It is scary to step away from a practice- and all it’s incredible clients! - that I have committed myself to but I trust that this is the best next step! I will miss providing this intimate form of care but also trust that I will return if and when the time is right.

So much of our job as midwives is meeting birthing people right where they are at. We get to be there with them in the intensity of labor, the sweet relief after they have their baby safely in their arms, and indulge in certain sense of humor that only the childbearing experience can offer. It fills our cup to establish such meaningful relationships with our clients.

This client bravely met what her body demanded of her as she swiftly brought her baby earth side.
