Part of our work was to incorporate an enormous elm tree that had recently been taken down and dried on the campus .of.maine We filled the cafe, Ursa Major Minor, with plenty of dining and working surfaces. We kept the live edge of the tree as a reminder of its scale and presence on the campus.
