Our favorite time traveling duo have been adopted! 🎉

Doc and Marty have been adopted by Sharon and are making the journey to their new home by ferry! These little adventurers will be completely spoiled and loved by their new mom and we couldn’t be happier for them!

Congratulations Doc, Marty, and Sharon! ❤️

Sunday Scaries? Not today! 🙅

We interrupt your regularly scheduled Sunday anxiety with a very important update: the baby bunnies have fur! 😍

We’re getting super emotional because these little nuggets are growing right before our eyes. They are getting cuter by the minute. Watching them reach these milestones is one of the greatest joys of rescue.

We hope these tiny fluffballs make your Sunday a little brighter and your Monday a little less scary.

We had an amazing time at the Cabinet of Curiosities Market yesterday!

Surrounded by local vendors selling unique, creative, and one-of-a-kind items, it was difficult not to purchase every fun treasure we saw during the event. We loved meeting everyone who stopped by our table to learn about our rescue and spend time with some of our adoptable bunnies. The buns enjoyed making plenty of new friends throughout the day 💕

A very special thank you to Sam, Mary, Lauren, Lindsay, and Julian for volunteering yesterday! From setting up, transporting bunnies to and from the event, keeping them comfortable and entertained throughout the event, and assisting with the breakdown afterward, we are incredibly grateful for you all!

We won’t be at the event today, but if you’re in the area, there is one more day of the market and we cannot recommend it enough! Head on over to Sanford Memorial Gym from 10am - 4pm and shop local! ❤️

One of the best parts of rescue life is the incredible people we meet and getting the opportunity to hear their stories. Today we had the pleasure of meeting one of our wonderful supporters, Priscilla, and getting to know more about her and her journey!

Priscilla made the trip all the way from New Hampshire to attend our event and brought us a very special gift: a book that she wrote herself! This very sweet author wrote a book that we know you would all love.. a heartwarming story about rabbits 🐰

Inspired by a true story, the book follows pet rabbits who were abandoned in the desert and the young girl who stepped in to save them. The story was inspired by her daughter's rabbit rescue in Las Vegas and brings to light the heartbreaking issue of rabbit abandonment.

Thank you, Priscilla, for coming out to meet us, for supporting our rescue, and for using your voice to help bring awareness to rabbits in need. ❤️

Sanctuary buns need love too! 💕

Meet two of our sanctuary sweethearts: Figs and Uno. Figs is our adorable three-legged tripod bunny, and Uno is our perfect one-eared bun. They’re proof that the best friendships come with a few extra quirks. 😜

Did you know that tripod bunnies can really benefit from having a bonded friend? Due to their missing leg, they struggle with wax build up and cleaning their ears which can lead to ear infections. We typically have had to always clean Figs’ ears, which we will still have to monitor, but a bonded friend can often help with that task. Having a friend isn’t just helping her emotionally, it will help her physically as well!

And who better for the job than Uno? Not only does he help Figs physically, but he also gives her companionship, comfort, and plenty of bunny love. Uno may be down an ear, but he has plenty of heart to make up for it 🥹

We’re so thrilled these two sanctuary buns have found each other are now bonded. A tripod bunny and a one-eared bunny…two “imperfectly” perfect bunnies teaching us what real friendship is all about !

Chloe, Beani, and Wombat have been living their best lives with their amazing family, and every update reminds us just how perfect this match has been 😍

These three lucky buns are surrounded by so much love, attention, and care every single day. Their parents have created a wonderful home for them, and their two kiddos have been right there helping make sure these rabbits are spoiled beyond belief.

We especially love watching Jade, our junior volunteer, continue to share her passion for animals. Her love for rabbits shines through in everything she does, and we’re so grateful to have her as part of our rescue family.

And Jade... well, we’re pretty convinced she’s going to end up running an animal rescue someday. 😂 She’s a little bunny whisperer. We fully expect a call in a few years asking us to just let her run the entire rescue.

Seeing Chloe, Beani, and Wombat thriving in such a loving home is exactly why we do what we do. Thank you to this incredible family for continuing to give these bunnies the wonderful life they deserve. It fills our hearts knowing they are so deeply loved. ❤️🐰

Meet Lady Tuk 👑

She was recently surrendered after struggling when she lost her bonded pal. She was on antibiotics due to having some struggles with cleaning her derrière, which can happen when buns get too plump. But don’t fret, she is working on her summer bod and getting back into pristine health so she can find a new suitor.

This lady would love to find a pal she can grow old with, as she does not want to end up a young spinster at just 3 years. Lady Tuk thrived with a companion; and is hoping to meet a family who has a rabbit that is looking for a friend, or will be introduced to eligible buns at the rescue before she embarks on her new journey. She likes to be bossed around by a buddy and will faithfully groom her bonded mate.

Though her online dating profile would definitely say she’s the submissive one, she does have a fiesty side too. If she doesn’t get her dandelion fast enough or if she doesn’t want to be bothered, she will take off and thump her feet on the ground so you know she’s not impressed! It’s quite adorable watching the cutest little furry tantrum, just don’t let her see you laughing 😂

If you are interested in continuing to help Lady Tuk live her best life, please consider filling out an application or messaging us for more information.
