To our YiFang Portland community,
This is Ben Nguyen. Since taking over YiFang in August 2024, owning this shop has been one of the most challenging things I’ve done — and today was one of the hardest days.
If you’ve spent time with us, you know I take service personally. When a guest leaves unhappy, it stays with me. I’m not okay with it, and I won’t pretend to be.
Two things I want to say clearly:
First — I take full responsibility for every experience that’s fallen short. Not my team. Me. They show up for this shop with heart every day, and I’m lucky to have them.
Second — we are listening, and we are working to do better. Every piece of feedback, the good and the hard to hear, is shaping how we run this place.
To everyone who has supported us so far: thank you. Truly. If your experience has ever missed the mark, please reach out to me directly — I want to hear from you.
