With the cold temps and this unbelievable wind the Love Shack Compassion Ministry had the privilege of serving with youth and leaders from THE UNDERGROUND PDX.
Our friends love the supplies but today they really wanted the coffee and cocoa, blankets, hats, gloves, handwarmers and conversation.
So many deep conversations today. It was FANTASTIC. Kolby shared and handed out many cards for Portland Rescue Mission. We talked about the night emergency shelter where they can also get more treatment options from the UGM Lifechange program. And many welcomed prayer from Anna and Kolby.
I find myself reflecting on today. And while it was beyond cold with those winds I know that each of us out there have no regrets. Our goal today was to give hope and make sure they felt loved. I have no doubt we met our goal.
I wanted a photo of a friend and I had to laugh when saw them. Check out how the wind was blowing my hair. Lol.
