For years, open-concept homes were seen as the ideal. It felt modern, airy, and great for entertaining. But at Allison Smith Design, we noticed that as daily life has changed (and more people are working from home), so have our priorities. We're noticing interior design clients asking for cozier spaces, or ways to break up these huge rooms.
