With so much going on this spring in prepping to move houses, I only managed to do one session at this year, but it was spectacularly beautiful! Stella and Luna are gorgeous Rhodesian Ridgeback sisters who have been getting to know Oregon over there first year here, and there is just so much stunning glory for them to explore. This tulip farm is one of my favorite places on earth!
The hot air balloons all lined up for a very brief moment while taking off at sunrise, just pleasing my photographer heart so much, agh! The colors here just blow my mind every time. So excited for them to have these vibrant photos for their walls 🎉💐

My love language is people who are
completely in love with their dogs. It’s the
way they light up when they talk about
them, the way they make room in their life
for that loyal companion. There’s something
honest in it- no pretenses, just a simple,
genuine bond.
When you see someone truly care for their
dog, you know they understand what it
means to love without conditions.
They know how to be there, how to show up
every day, no matter what. It’s not about the
big things; it’s about those daily acts of care
and connection that speak volumes.
People who love their dogs like that-
they’re the ones who understand what it
means to be loyal, to be kind, to give
without needing a reason.
And in a world where it’s easy to forget
what really matters, finding someone who
loves like that feels like a breath of fresh air.

Saying goodbye is so hard, even when you’ve known it’s coming for a long time. Knowing your time together will be shorter than expected doesn’t make it any easier, but it does make every moment that much more intentional.
From the very beginning, Ellie’s early diagnosis of kidney disease meant Jen and Michael were going to have to fit a lifetime of love and adventure into far fewer years. And they did exactly that- with so much care, dedication, and delight. Watching the life they created for her (and for Ellie’s sister Rosie) has been incredibly inspiring.
I met Ellie when she was almost a year old in 2021, during a beautiful sunrise session at the tulip farm. Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to photograph her many more times in the most beautiful places across Oregon, including Jen and Michael’s wedding, where they wouldn’t have dreamed of tying the knot without their girls by their side.
I love watching and documenting the pups hilarious shenanigans together, along with the evolution of their famous “hug sister” pose. Ellie also had a deep love for her beach ball, which brought her so much adorable comfort. We even did an entire session centered around it at the beach, and I’ll never forget how much we laughed that day.
Ellie was beautiful, goofy, gentle, and so deeply loved. To her family, she was everything- a bright, irreplaceable light that went out far too soon. I was really lucky to get to spend so many delightful evenings with her, and you can see some of my favorite moments with her in the following slides from our latest photo session all the way to our first.
Ellie crossed the rainbow bridge over this last weekend. Please help me send Jen and Michael love, comfort, and peace as they navigate this immense loss 🌈🤍

Spring is arriving soon and so are flower photo sessions with your dogs! In the next few slides, you'll see some of my favorite locations to immerse in colorful flower glory. I only have a few available at each location since the blooming seasons are short, so get in touch right away if you are inspired by a certain kind of flower or location you see here 🌸🌺🌻
The first to arrive are the yellow balsamroot and purple lupine wildflowers in the Gorge and the amazing colorful tulips of in April, which are just spectacular. Then we have the gorgeous camas flowers, poppies, and roses in the later spring, and ending the flower season absolutely stunning wildflower fields with mountain views in the summer.
Which flowers are your faves? I truly can't pick, so I clearly visit them all! The dogs and your smiling faces make the views even better too 😘

Imagine my surprise finding Stonehenge...in the wrong country 😂 I had no idea this replica was here and couldn't stop for when I saw it the first time out in the middle of nowhere. It's only about a hundred years old and obviously not as cool as the real thing in the UK, but it was fun to visit!
