The Rally has gained acclaim as one of the largest bouldering competitions and festivals in the nation! It was voted “Top 20 Competitions and Races in Outdoor Sports for Novice Competitors” by Outside Magazine and described as "among the country’s most beloved climbing events" by the Climbing Wall

In 2017 we threw it back to the 80s with an 8-bit game theme.
Climbers of all levels tried to beat their personal high scores while spectators cheered them on from the sidelines! Kyra Condie and Sean Bailey caught the most gold coins and topped the podiums.

Since day 1, the Portland Boulder Rally has been more than a competition. It's a gathering of our community, a festival full of local vendors and epic sponsors, and an event where climbers of all levels can push themselves.

Year 3! Who can forget Isabelle Faus' creative use of the lip, Alex Puccio's one arm lock-off, or Jimmy Webb using his tee shirt as brush?
