ompeting in Rodeo between the ages of thirteen and twenty-seven. Specifically … “Bull riding”. The last six of these fourteen years were spent competing at a professional level.At eighteen I became involved with Martial Arts as it kept me mentally and physically in shape durning the off-season. Most people believe that riding a wild bull requires that you only get on and hold tight for eight seconds. Riding correctly requires far more. Martial Arts empowered my focus, balance, and strength to ride better. It was also during this time that I met and went to work for Greg Warne, President of Kimber of America. I was hired as one of Kimbers “shooters”. I also built Kimber fi****ms and was the project leader of the Model 82 and Model 84 Kimber rifles. I spent two years as one of two gunsmiths for Kimber before they moved to the East coast. In 2000 I became an NRA Fi****ms instructor and Range Safety Officer. I am also a certified scuba diver of three years. Thru the years I never lost my interest in Fi****ms and Martial Arts and still practice daily. I have moved away from competitive shooting and bull riding (older and wiser) and choose to focus my practice and studies on real life, self-defense situations. My path and experience in life has taught self-reliance and personal responsibility. How to stay calm and focused when blood pressure and adrenalin are screaming otherwise. In my experience with high stress and physical confrontation I have found that confrontation and rash decision-making are not the answer MOST of the time. However, when the time does come to act, I want to teach you how to protect yourself and your loved ones, applied thru learned skills, strategies, situational awareness, and mental preparedness.
