Maraming Salamat! Thank you for a wonderful event. We all came together to support typhoon victims and special needs kids in the Philippines. We raised over $3000. Wonderful musicians shared their talents with us. This is what happens when our community shows up and we step toward the world we want to build. Thank you for making this event happen. Salamat.

Urgent Appeal from the Foundation for Philippine Progress: Support our Disaster Relief Fund

Disasters haven’t stopped, and neither can we. Back to back typhoons, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions have continued to strike the Philippines, leaving people without homes or food.

Your donation to the FPP Disaster Relief Fund helps deliver relief to those who need it most. Let’s act now. Your solidarity saves lives.

Donate today at tinyurl.com/FPPdonate

Why Support the FPP Disaster Relief Fund?

Your contribution supports humanitarian action that is locally-led and community-driven. We undergo a serious and systematized vetting process with our partners in the Philippines to ensure that the donations go toward the intended recipients. Accountability and transparency are important to us, and we are able to provide detailed reports of the relief distribution records, beneficiary stories, and footage of relief efforts.

We despise the corrupt practices of entities who utilize donations for their own personal gain. We take pride in being an honest and trusted organization that can ensure your donation will go directly to the most impacted communities in need of support.

Typhoon Tino Leaves Deadly Trail in the Philippines; FPP Appeals for Immediate Support

Nov 6, 2025 – Over the course of two days, Typhoon Tino (international name Kalmaegi) tore through the Visayas, leaving a deadly trail of destruction. At least 114 people have lost their lives, most of them in Cebu, and more than 420,000 have been displaced.

A national state of emergency has been declared as floodwaters submerged entire communities, landslides buried homes, and strong winds toppled trees and power lines. Roads remain blocked, and rescue teams continue to search for the 127 people still missing. Thousands have taken refuge in evacuation centers, many without access to clean water, food, or basic medical supplies.

FPP calls on our community to respond with urgency and compassion. Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps bring life-saving aid and long-term recovery to families devastated by this calamity.

Citizens Disaster Response Center (CDRC) & Consortium for People’s Development - Disaster Response (CPD-DR), our partner organizations in the Philippines, continue their emergency response efforts in the regions affected by Typhoon Tino and are closely monitoring the situation.

We appeal to our communities to support our ongoing relief efforts. Your donation will help us meet the immediate needs of those affected including: Food packs, drinking water, hot meals, sleeping kits, and hygiene kits.
