Photography For The People

I had the pleasure of photographing a lot of these students in the fall, so it was a real treat to get to watch them walk across the stage to cheers and applause in front of their friends and family. Big props to and for providing such a nurturing environment for these young men to continue their path in academics, sports and life.

The entrepreneur life of an artist ain’t easy. It’s a grind, working 50+ hour weeks to make ends meet, working the booth at markets, building a website with a selling platform, developing wholesale relationships, all while trying to provide for your family.

But the perks are pretty damn sweet, too. For Tim of , he gets to spend his days in his beautiful backyard studio, drinking tea, listening to NPR and staying strong on the pull up bar. The views outside aren’t too shabby either, especially on this first day of summer in Maine.

In a world that continually relies on cheap plastic s**t made at scale by some automatron, Tim crafts authentic, whimsical vessels that are sure to put a smile on your face so when/if you wake up in the morning at Rage Level 7, drinking your coffee or eating your cereal out of his mugs and bowls just might make your day a little brighter and remind you that there are so many good humans in this world (just like Tim) who are here to spread a little love and joy.

Now go follow him, buy his stuff for yourself, your friends, your family, and know you’re supporting things that are truly good in life.

Sometimes I just have to put my camera down and take in the entirety of the moment. builds trust, confidence and strength for new swimmers every day in the pool. To watch someone who’s never been comfortable in the water go into the deep end and swim on their own is pretty mind-blowing. Huge props to all involved with the incredible organization!
