al students. Transportation funding is shrinking. Currently, TAPS subsidizes the Flexpass. The department will not be able to continue its current level of support due to increasing costs, such as parking garage maintenance, in addition to lacking a dedicated funding source for non-motorized transportation services. Process: Transport PDX will conduct a feasibility study to investigate various options available to address these challenges. We will conduct outreach to the PSU community to connect with other students interested in this initiative. In addition, we will administer a survey to capture student opinions and ideas on sustainable transportation options. Possibilities: We hope to facilitate a lively dialogue around the transportation challenges facing PSU students. Many schools similar to PSU offer students affordable transit options funded by student fees. This appears to be a promising solution and we encourage students to vocalize their thoughts on our current transportation system at PSU.
