Double Bill: THE BREASTS OF TIRESIAS show & TERESA'S TATAS dance party 07/29/2024

Hi all! Hogfish, a Portland-area theater company run by PDCC members Matt and Edwin Cahill, is about to open its fantastic summer extravanganza, which runs THIS WEEKEND ONLY! It centers many issues we fight for as Dems, especially reproductive & LGBTQ rights, and it is sure to be a blast!!!

From their team:

The Breasts of Tiresias is part musical, part opera, part immersive, feminist, surrealist, gender-expansive romp. Performed as a special English translation, two piano-version arranged by Benjamin Britten and Viola Tunnard, shows will take place in the Aura nightclub in downtown Portland. Each performance will be followed by an interactive dance party with tunes from the show woven into a night of empowering electronica by DJ x.nrg

Pay-what-you-can tickets are also available!! Reach out to [email protected]

Double Bill: THE BREASTS OF TIRESIAS show & TERESA'S TATAS dance party A surrealist, feminist, gender-expansive evening for everyone. Come for just the show or just the party, or have double the fun with both.

For anyone who missed it: We had a great discussion on Question 3 at our September General Meeting last Sunday! Many thanks to our panelists, Lucy Hochshcartner (Deputy Campaign Manager for Pine Tree Power) and Jim Cohen (from Maine Affordable Energy Coalition). Watch the recording of the panel below!

In the end, PDCC voted not to endorse in either the "yes" or "no" position. It was an informative discussion all around! Thanks to all who attended and participated in the conversation.
