Bridges to Change

“I have nowhere to go…”

We receive calls like this every day at Bridges to Change from women across our community. Those are words no one should ever have to say. And yet, we continue to receive calls from women searching for safety, stability, and a chance to heal.

Today, we are honored to share that we are opening a new women’s home — a space built with compassion, community, and hope. This home will provide 7 beds of supportive housing for women engaged in our treatment services, offering 4–6 months of stability, connection, and care during a critical time in their recovery journey. This project has no funding or contract…just Bridges to Change living our mission.

Last week, our teams came together to prepare the home with so much heart — making beds, sourcing supplies for each woman, and creating spaces that feel welcoming and dignified. We were also deeply moved by the generosity of our board members, who donated furniture and bedding to help turn this house into a home.

Every blanket placed, every bed assembled, and every donated item carries a message: you matter, you are worthy of care, and you do not have to walk this path alone.
