Tina graduated our Workforce Development program this week! During her internship, she also completed 80 hours of training to become a Peer Wellness Specialist.

We are so proud of Tina and the incredible hard work she has put in to complete both of these trainings to secure her future!

We will be tossing up a matching campaign Monday to support us in the gap! We will have many months of a funding gap coming up and a donor has stepped in to hype us up to keep going 🎉🥳

Some lease signing days feel like giving birth after months of long labor and barriers to housing.

This day means so many things for our entire community- because Teresa lost her husband to a motorcycle accident while they were living unhoused with their children.

Her children went to stay with family while she grieved and tried to get back up. They have been living apart for a couple of years.

This placement didn’t just house one person, but reunified a family, gave a place for restoration, and changed the trajectory of her future generations.

Teresa signed and got her keys, with her husband in her arms. She has worked incredibly hard to bring her family back together. Back home.

We are thankful for for partnering with us on these housing placements for individuals in shelter.

Thank you to Our Streets PDX for partnering with us on our first Fridays! We were able to share 126 meals with our neighbors!
