The year is 2016. Skinny jeans and crop tops are in, Tilikum Crossing and the MAX Orange line have recently opened, Portland-based rapper amine released his first hit single “Caroline,” the Portland Thorns just won their first NWSL Shield Award, and the Portland Pickles played their first ever season. Life is good.

- Reynolds School District Bond Projects: 3 new elementary schools were underway!
-Portland’s Off-Road Cycling Plan: Portland’s first official plan that considered off-road cycling facilities. Bureau of Planning and Sustainability
-Longview Drinking Water Improvement Study: the community considered more than 50 different options to improve local drinking water. City of Longview
-Willamette Falls Riverwalk Design: 1000’s of people participated in meetings around the region. Metro
- The new Sellwood Bridge: opened to traffic! JLA worked with Multnomah County, Oregon on this project for 10+ years!
-Sewer Smart Public Communications Campaign: Clark Regional Wastewater District and JLA were recognized with an American Water Works Association award.
- Newberg Dundee Bypass: it wasn’t open yet, but construction was well underway! Oregon Department of Transportation
- Washington Park Reservoirs: Portland Water Bureau and JLA were recognized with an IAP2 Cascade Chapter Best Practices award for the design process. This will open to the public in 2026!
- The Lake Oswego Tigard Water Partnership: A historic moment – the pipeline that stretches over 10.5 miles from the Clackamas River to Tigard is complete. City of Lake Oswego, City of Tigard
